Shooting this wedding has been probably destiny. An Hawaian bride and an Italian (Rome to be exact) that live in Belgium decide to get merried in Valle d’Aosta (Italy) and they choose a photographer from Turin? Well, it happened.
I’ve met Jacqueline and Domenico for the first time in a cold day of February when we decided to visit their wedding location, the Tour de Villa Castle, in Gressan and I’ve been thrilled by them. They were genuine and elegant, we liked each other.
The day of their wedding has begun with heavy clouds and hard rain so we decided to have an indoor ceremony and there the magic has taken place.
I’ve rarely seen such an intensity between two human beings, the energy between them and their guests was tangible, you could feel it. The most incredible moment has been the exchange of Ha, Domenico and Jacqueline put their foreheads one to another by keeping their hands and they stood in silence exchanging their love for seconds that have seemed a lifetime. That has been pure magic.
I think the weather must have felt that energy because it has stopped raining and we have enjoyed the party outside in the beautiful garden of the castle where you can admire the entire valley.
I keep a delicate and intense memory of Domenico and Jacqueline, I’ve felt lucky to be part of their lives and I hope that my images could transmit that energy that I’ve told you.
